In my 2019 TEDx Talk, “Design: The Power and Responsibility,” I reflected on how design is more than just aesthetics—it’s a superpower. I discussed how, in the digital age, design shapes everything from attention to biases, often with unintended consequences. I challenged designers to reconsider their role in building a more ethical, inclusive future. My talk called for designers to use their skills to center humanity in innovation rather than solely focusing on profit.
