In 2013-2015, we collaborated with Holst Architecture and Osmose Design to create Instrument’s new headquarters. Our goal was to design a space that encouraged creativity, teamwork, and natural interactions. Inspired by environments like Herman Miller’s Design Yard, we wanted the office to be flexible and adaptable, supporting both focused individual work and spontaneous collaboration.
The design prioritized practical, thoughtful elements—communal workspaces, team-specific areas, and shared production hubs—each meant to make everyday tasks easier and more connected. We also embraced the idea that the space didn’t need to be perfect or polished. Instead, it became a place where people felt comfortable making it their own, fostering a sense of ownership and engagement.
